You will receive 18 months of practical training in insurance. You will become familiar with two different areas of the insurance business and this will give you a good insight into the type of work we do. We will rely on you and involve you directly in activities where you can take responsibility and demonstrate your ability to do this. You could work in claims management, in a specialist department or in product management. Throughout your course, you will be supported by our department for developing young talent and helped to prepare for your final exams.
You will spend 30 days studying in college. This will be divided into short blocks of one to three days per month. You will study different areas of insurance with the aim of applying your knowledge in practice within our company.
Ideally you will be between 18 and 24 and interested in business and the insurance industry. You will have good school results and be able to express yourself clearly in German. A head for figures is an additional benefit. We are looking for young people who want to learn and have a certain amount of staying power. You will need this to overcome the more difficult challenges that you will face. If you are independent, flexible, sociable and responsible, you will fit in well in our teams.
During your training, you will be integrated as fully as possible into the work process of your department and will be able to take on responsibility. We discuss the exact location with you and try to consider your wishes and strengths in the best possible way. Possible areas are:
The heart of every insurance company! You accept written and telephone claims notifications, file the claim in our systems, clarify coverages and close the case. You communicate independently with the customers.
An insurance company is subject to change and must keep up with the times. This means that we must constantly develop our insurances further. You will be involved in the redesign and planning, taking over your own work packages and revising documents.

Length of your training programme: 18 months
Holiday: 25 days (five weeks) per year
Salary: CHF 2,850 gross per month including 13th month's salary
