New Head of Media Relations at the Baloise Group

Basel, Dominik Marbet will become the new Head of Media Relations at the Baloise Group on 1 April 2015.

Dominik Marbet (CH, 1973) will assume responsibility for the group's public relations and external communications function on 1 April 2015, when he becomes Head of Media Relations and the Baloise Group's spokesperson. In this role, he will report to Marc Kaiser, Head of Corporate Communications & Investor Relations.

Dominik Marbet has been Head of Public Relations and Vocational Training at the Basel Employers' Association since 2010, and before that he was Head of Global Media Relations at Ciba Holding AG from 2008 to 2010. Between 2003 and 2008 he worked at the Baloise Group for three years as Head of Corporate Publishing and then for two years as Head of Communications Switzerland.
After successfully completing a degree in Law Studies at the University of Basel, Dominik Marbet qualified as a federally certified Public Relations Executive. He also holds an Executive Master of Science in Communications Management from the University of Lugano, and a CAS (Certificate of Advanced Studies) in Economics and Politics from the University of St. Gallen.
He is married and has two children.

Dominik Müller, the previous Head of Group Communications, will be leaving the company at his own request at the end of the year in order to pursue new challenges. Baloise regrets to lose a competent member of staff and wishes him all the best.
