Baloise cooperates closely with KASKO and has already launched numerous products on the market with the insurtech start-up, such as single-item insurance. With this product, customers can choose from a range of over 60 individual items to insure their favourite item in two minutes and with just a few clicks.
In collaboration with Picsure, Baloise is the first insurance company in Europe to offer photo recognition insurance. Thus, for the first time, taking out an insurance policy becomes an emotional process with an entertainment factor. Picsure’s software is intelligent: it learns and constantly recognises more brands and models, such as used, for example, with wristwatch insurance.
Furniture and rarity lovers can now insure their favourite pieces with Fiasko Kasko insurance in cooperation with Möbel Pfister. What’s special about this? The insurance goes much further than conventional household insurance, offering the ideal supplementary insurance cover. It also insures against mechanical damage, improper use, short-circuit/voltage fluctuations and damage through foreign matter.
In addition to the innovative insurance and banking solutions that Baloise offers together with Baloise Bank SoBa, it also has digital offerings available on the market through a variety of channels. As part of the Zak app, Bank CLER customers have the option of taking out Baloise insurance with just a few clicks. The simplicity of the closing process is a decisive factor in its success. Customers can choose between baggage, mobile phone and cyber insurance.
In Switzerland, Baloise offers simple and fast insurance solutions on fasoon.ch in connection with setting up a company. Users are guided through the individual steps needed to found the company; Baloise, together with other corporate partners, assumes part of the costs of the company foundation, offers expert advice and the necessary products for starting up a new company.
Together with UPC, Baloise offers an insurance solution tailored to gamers. On upc.ch/ggwp gamers can learn about gaming gear insurance and can then take it out quickly and easily. When you purchase a UPC Gaming Package you receive a 25% discount on the insurance package. Baloise is also the presenting sponsor at the Baloise International Gaming Show by UPC.
Baloise is a partner of the new offer on fahrschule.ch. On registration, every student receives a free three-month cyber insurance plan. In addition, students can take out new third-party driver insurance on fahrschule.ch for the regular use of third-party vehicles, which also applies if the vehicle owner lives in the same household (e.g. parents). When the young drivers switch to their own car, they again receive discounts and possibly an increase in their bonus level.
Baloise has a long-standing and close partnership with TCS. In addition to Baloise’s TCS car insurance, TCS also sells other Baloise on-demand insurance products. The collaboration also includes legal expenses insurance, assistance services and road safety (driving safety training).
Baloise Insurance is the first insurer in Belgium to insure the transport of medicines, blood and other samples by drone. The insurer has joined the Helicus Aero Initiative (HAI), a platform that aims to enable the transport of medical drones in the foreseeable future. Drone transport will become increasingly important in the coming years and Baloise intends to play a leading role as a pioneer in the insurance world.
In Belgium, Baloise cooperates with the online platform Carfixer, where it is easy to request a binding offer for vehicle repair. A few photos of the damage and general information about the vehicle – within 24 hours you will receive a number of reviewed offers from workshops. These workshops are part of the Baloise Insurance Premium Plus network, which consists exclusively of networks that regularly undergo strict quality controls.
