Baloise joins fintech incubator and accelerator 'F10'

Basel, March 9, 2017. Baloise has become a corporate member of 'F10', a Swiss fintech incubator and accelerator. It has thus gained exclusive access to highly promising international fintech start-ups, new technologies and business models with disruptive potential.

"F10 is a source of inspiration for us," says Michael Müller, CEO Basler Versicherungen Switzerland. "Membership will help Baloise to evolve in line with its Simply Safe strategy. F10 is located in Zurich in the same building as Basler. Close collaboration – sometimes even in the same place – will help us, as an established company, to become more agile in how we think and act."

F10 is an incubator and accelerator that helps start-ups to grow from an idea into a successful company and acts as an intermediary between established financial services providers and fledgling fintech companies. Membership will give Baloise direct access to start-ups at an early stage in their development. Baloise can thus make an active contribution to the start-ups and, at the same time, benefit from the ideas, dynamism and spirit of invention that characterise these innovative companies.
