The agency also rated the firm’s risk management as strong. The stable outlook is a sign of Standard & Poor’s confidence that Baloise will maintain a strong position in its core markets going forward and will continue to be very well capitalised.
Besides the rating for its Swiss entity Baloise Insurance Ltd, Baloise has had ratings produced for the first time for its Belgian and German subsidiaries Baloise Belgium NV and Basler Sachversicherungs-AG and for Bâloise Holding Ltd.
