Basel, April 28, 2025. Baloise has disclosed a healthy solvency ratio of 204 per cent in the Group’s latest financial condition report.

Baloise has presented its latest financial condition report, publishing details of its solvency ratio calculated in accordance with the criteria of the Swiss Solvency Test (SST). The relevant date for the calculation of solvency was 31 December 2024. The Baloise Group’s solvency ratio for 2024 was a healthy 204 per cent. The two Swiss insurance units Baloise Life Ltd and Baloise Insurance Ltd reported very good solvency ratios of 170 per cent and 171 per cent respectively. Once again, these results underscore the enduring strength of Baloise’s capital base.
