  2. Alexander Bockelmann nommé CTO de Baloise Group

    Avec sa phase stratégique « Simply Safe », Baloise Group est en train, depuis deux ans, de jeter les bases des prestations d’assurance de demain. Déterminé à opérer cette transformation avec toute la vitesse et la profondeur voulues, le conseil d’administration de Bâloise Holding SA a décidé de créer une division « Group IT », que dirigera en tant que Chief IT Officer (CTO) Alexander Bockelmann, membre de la direction du groupe.

The 18-year-old ice hockey sensation from the canton of Valais was the first Swiss player to be chosen as the top overall pick in the North American NHL draft. Basler Insurance and Nico Hischier have initially agreed a three-year collaboration.

    Baloise, one of the leading insurers for the digital age, is exploring the opportunities presented by the insurance of items in virtual worlds. In order to find out more about the needs of this target group, Baloise is sponsoring the Baloise International Gaming Show to be held in Lausanne, Switzerland. This is the second such event to be sponsored by the company, following an earlier show in Luxembourg.

  1. Basler Germany: Change to management team

    Jürg Schiltknecht, the acting Deputy CEO and CFO of Basler Versicherungen in Germany, will become CEO of Basler Versicherungen in Germany as of 1 May 2015. He will succeed Jan De Meulder, who is set to retire on 30 April 2015.

  1. 15th Baloise Art Prize awarded at Art Basel 2013

    The Baloise Art Prize has been awarded to Jenni Tischer from Germany and Kemang Wa Lehulere from South Africa. The two prizes of CHF 30,000.- each will be presented at the Statements sector of Art Basel by a jury of international experts. The prize includes the acquisition by Baloise of a group of works by the award winners, which are donated to two important museums in Europe: currently the Hamburger Kunsthalle and the MUMOK, Museum Moderner Kunst Stiftung Ludwig, Vienna.
