The original designs for the “Kirchgarten” residential development featured small individual play areas. The plans also included a public playground on the property of the Roman Catholic parish. So why not merge the projects to create one large playground?

The Laufen planning office came up with the idea and implemented it in collaboration with Baloise and the parish in a straightforward way. The result is an attractive children’s playground set in green surroundings, which serves as a communal meeting and leisure space for the entire residential area. In keeping with our sustainability strategy, we were thereby able to contribute something to the community in Laufen.
