Currently, Veezoo is being used in the insurance field at Baloise. Importantly, all the data is anonymised and can only be made visible on internal drives. No sensitive personal data is processed.
The idea for Veezoo originally came about at ETH Zurich in 2016. The aim was to build a bridge between business and data. Till Haug, co-founder of Veezoo, describes the vision as follows: “We want employees without a technical background to be able to ask complex questions and receive substantiated answers quickly, without having to wait for analysts. Our software helps to accelerate understanding, test hypotheses and make decisions based firmly on data.”
Initially, the challenge was to convince companies that the technology was reliable. However, the market has changed since then. Today, many companies approach Veezoo themselves, fascinated by how it makes working with large amounts of data intuitive and easy.
