Insurance arose from the idea of mutually supportive communities. The strength of a mutually supportive community for the purpose of insurance lies in the fact that it is more than the sum of its parts. However much care is taken, the individual is exposed to risks that can be better handled and managed in the community through the sharing of risks and costs. Naturally, this only applies if the community of insured persons is organised effectively and efficiently. We are therefore always aware as an insurer of how important it is to take responsibility and put our actions at the service of sustainable development. 2021: What do we want to achieve?
One million additional customers

An even stronger focus on customer needs, tailored omni-channel communication and innovative products and services in the areas of insurance, assistance and pensions will help Baloise to attract an additional one million customers through 2021. This corresponds to a 30 per cent increase over 2016.
